I don’t really care about the new civil war over whether AI should be used for “creative applications.”

One thing I do know is that AI will be weaponized.

One of the novel applications of AI is that it can be used as an open-source intelligence-gathering tool to gather information about one’s enemies. For example, a nation-state could use LLMs to scrape military information on the dark web.

Soldiers are being equipped with body cameras, and now states are legally requiring police officers to keep their body cams on. AI could be used to categorize and analyze the footage from those cameras on the fly.

LLMs are being used to categorize and analyze drone footage and now most drones are equipped with cameras and GPS. The military could use AI to identify enemy targets without needing human eyes.

Now, let’s not forget that 90% of the military budget is spent on logistics.

It is now possible to automate 80% of the military’s logistics through AI and robotics.

That doesn’t mean that GPT is the military’s only hope.

It means that GPT is a mere stepping stone for the development of other, much more powerful systems. It’s a testing ground for the most advanced technological capabilities imaginable.

The technology being developed today is not being developed for the purposes of “revolutionizing scientific inquiry,” “automating jobs,” and “streamlining government services.” It’s being developed for the purposes of global domination.

It’s being developed for the purpose of global surveillance.

It’s being developed for the purpose of world war.

That’s a fact.

If you want to protest the development of AI, you can protest all you want.

But I think that’s futile.

The wheels are already in motion and no one is going to stop this train from moving forward.

If you want to be part of the AI revolution for the purposes of “improving society,” you’re going to be left in the dust.

The technological capabilities that are being developed right now are being developed for the purpose of war.

That’s a fact.

If you want to protest the commercial development of AI, then go ahead and do so.

If you want to protest the commercial deployment of AI, you can protest all you want.

But I think that’s futile.

One thing I know is that AI will be weaponized.

And one thing I know is that no one is going to stop this technological revolution from moving forward.
