I am not an Aussie, but whenever I've visited rural Australia I love the blue skies and the gentle
pace of work. Moreover the genuinely delightful Aussies who live there.

One of the things that is absolutely shocking is that so many businesses are shut either because of the
lack of migrants or people unwilling to do the jobs.

This is the case of so many rural towns around the world. But for whatever reason Australia still operates under the fiction of full employment when all of its data suggest otherwise.

And yet these areas vote for the Libs who have no plan to fix any of it. They can't get Aussie workers
because they are unwilling to do the jobs, yet their
representatives are so afraid of migration that they are reducing immigration.

No migrants = closed businesses, means no jobs for the young, means dead towns with elderly who have to rely on the state.

I'd like to know what you think these areas should do.
