AITA for not letting my brother’s friend stay at my house after he kicked him out?

My brother and his friend “Mike” went on a trip together. Mike is someone my brother has been friends with for 10+ years but I only met him a few times. He seems like a nice enough guy but I don’t know much about him. He doesn’t have a car and relied on my brother to drive them around for the trip.

My brother got covid right before they were supposed to leave. He told Mike that they can’t go but Mike took a bus to my brother’s city and went to my brother’s house, saying he already bought a non refundable ticket and couldn’t afford to loose the money. He was planning on going by himself, but he didn’t have a car so he was going to rely on public transportation to get around which would be hard since he’s in a small town in the middle of no where with barely any public transportation. My brother felt bad and took him.

After two days, my brother said that Mike was being annoying as hell. He wouldn’t let him use his car because corona but Mike kept complaining about not being able to go anywhere and wanted to take an uber to the nearest city which was 1.5 hours away. My brother said it was too far and too expensive and they arranged to meet up with two people a hour away but then they cancelled last minute. Mike got upset and said that he lied about already buying the ticket and just wanted an excuse to get away from home and that if he knew my brother was going to trap him in the middle of nowhere he wouldn’t have came. He also insulted my brother, calling him a loser for living in a small town and said living in a big city is 1000000 times better. He complained about the food my brother was cooking (he said he wanted to go to a specific restaurant in the city but my brother said it was too far) and said that my brother was an awful cook. My brother said that was his last straw and kicked him out with basically no way to get anywhere. He also got covid so now he’s quarantining and can’t drive him anywhere.

Mike had no where to go and knew no one else in the town. My brother asked if he could stay with me and I said no. I have two kids and a wife and don’t want some stranger living with us, especially with my brother having covid. I also just don’t want to deal with all the drama that Mike is causing. He’s texted me a bunch of times saying he has nowhere else to go and is sitting at some McDonald’s an hour away with no money and no way to get around. I feel a little bad but it’s not my problem. He’s the one who went on the trip even though my brother didn’t want to go. He’s the one who insulted my brother.

My wife and kids are on my side but everyone else is saying that I’m an asshole for not helping him out and giving him a place to stay since he’s basically homeless now. AITA?
