CMV: You can't be a good person if you continue to use TikTok

I think TikTok is a horrible platform that steals content and pays its creators a meager amount of money to produce said content. Most people use it for stupid, irrelevant content, or as an excuse to promote their politics. You have to sift through hours of this bullshit to find something good, and it's usually a 15-second clip that doesn't really do anything for you.<br><br>Now, my argument is that if you continue to use TikTok, you are not a good person. Sure, the people who run it are evil and take advantage of their creators. But the fact that they're evil doesn't excuse your own actions.<br><br>Think about it, when you use TikTok, you are literally sending money to the corporation that is stealing from their creators. That is just as evil as the people who run the corporation. Sure, you may not be stealing the content, but the fact remains the same - you're sending money to them.<br><br>But it's not just the money. The content on the platform is bad and contributes to the degeneracy of society. You're contributing to the degeneracy of society by continuing to use it. I'm not saying TikTok is the cause of societal collapse, but the fact that it's so popular and widely used is proof of just how degenerate society is. By continuing to use the platform, you are contributing to societal degeneracy.<br><br>This is why I think you can't be a good person if you continue to use TikTok. You're either a bad person or you're ignorant of the consequences of your actions.
