I see a lot of people talking about how much of a good thing it is to save money, to spend less than you earn. It seems like this is a moral thing to do, but I don’t see the logic.

It seems to me that not spending money on things you want is wasteful and inefficient, and that the opposite is actually a moral thing to do. The reason I think this is because it means you have more money to spend on other things, and you get the value you paid for.

I believe that you should spend your money on the things you want, as long as it’s within your budget, because it’s a waste of money if you’re spending on things you don’t want.

I would love to hear some counterarguments for this, thanks!
