I've noticed that the message of feminism often gets misrepresented, and I genuinely feel like I'm just a whisper in the wind, trying to share my own beliefs of feminism. It gets frustrating, and I feel defeated that my voice got drowned out.

Can we talk about our own experiences of trying to talk about feminism to someone that either doesn't understand it, or got misinformed? How do we approach it, and what is the best way to spread the message of feminism in your opinion?

I'm not talking about arguing with misogynists, but just your average person who has a friend that rejects feminism because of a lack of understanding.

Feel free to share your own experiences, or share tips in the comments below.

Edit: I'm not asking for the general "what is feminism like," I want to know how we as a community can spread the message of feminism in a way that is not to alienate, but to bring others into the conversation.
