I 28f broke up with my boyfriend 33m of 1 year because he sent a dick pic to the wrong person

I got a text with the word hi with a pic of a dick. I laughed and text back that the wrong person got that pic. He responded with who is this , i said his gf of 1 year. He said it was for my eyes only. I said how ist that supposed to get to me when you don’t even address the text? He said I’m an idiot for breaking up with him. I said he’s the idiot for sending a pic of his private area to the wrong person. I broke up with him. Am i overreacting ? Did I just mess up everything ?<br><br>Edit: i sent the screenshot of the conversation to his mom and told her we broke up. She said there’s no way her son would do that, called me a liar and said she can’t believe that her son would do that. <br><br>Edit 2: he finally admitted it was him. He’s blowing up my phone with texts and voicemails saying sorry. I told his mom he admitted it was him. She said “well at least he admitted it, don’t count your loss yet, he still loves you and you still love him”. I told her I don’t think I can get past this and she said maybe time will change your mind.
