I've been having sex with men for 10 years and men have this weird obsession with the idea of a women's vagina being "oh so clean". I've been told by men I've hooked up with to "wash my pussy more", I've been asked "are you sure you're clean" and one told me not to use soap when I showered because he doesn't want to get yeast infections.
