CMV: Republicans who call themselves patriots are not patriots. They're traitors and I'm not afraid to call them that.

First off, I just want to make it clear that I'm a Democrat. I think we should be a fairer and more just society. But I believe that comes through the democratic process, not through violence or even threats of violence. I don't care what your party is, you don't have the right to take over our government through force, and I'm not afraid to say it. If you're a Republican and you're afraid of voting in the next election, that's your right, but you shouldn't be allowed to take over our government through armed force and intimidation.<br><br>I have a few points to back this up:<br><br>1. The GOP's platform is anti-American values.<br> * Republicans have spent years spreading propaganda about American history and our founding principles.<br> * They want you to believe that our country was founded on greed and power, when in reality, our country was founded on a set of principles and values that were outlined in the Declaration of Independence.<br>2. Republicans don't care about the Constitution.<br> * They've spent years attacking the legitimacy of the Supreme Court and the Constitution.<br> * They've also spent years attacking the legitimacy of the democratic process.<br>3. Republicans don't care about American citizens.<br> * They've spent years attacking the legitimacy of American citizenship, voting rights, and civil rights.<br> * They've also spent years attacking the legitimacy of our government and institutions.<br>4. Republicans are willing to use violence to get their way.<br> * They've spent years using violence to intimidate and silence their opponents.<br> * They've also spent years using violence to take over our government and institutions.<br><br>Now, I know some of you will say, "But I'm a Democrat, I'm a liberal, and I'm not a patriot." Well, that's okay. You can believe whatever you want. But you don't have the right to call yourself a patriot when you don't believe in American values.<br><br>In conclusion, Republicans who call themselves patriots are not patriots. They're traitors and I'm not afraid to call them that.
