Philosophy is a joke field that should be abolished

Philosophy is a joke field that should be abolished. Some people say "but philosophers have done great things!" Yes, though things are what they were doing before 1900, and besides that is like defending the movie Fantastic Four on the basis that Stan Lee also did Spider-Man.

Philosophers should either learn to code, or join departments of history, sociology, or psychology. There is no place for them in science, as we have learned repeatedly throughout 300 years. Here is my reasoning for why philosophy is a joke field that should be abolished:
If there were some purpose to philosophy it would be 1. To give additional insights to science and help it advance. It has failed at this completely, science has learned to distrust philosophers and ignore them completely, and for good reason. Philosophers know nothing about science and as such can't make any useful observations about it. In fact, the reality is that most philosophers are hostile to science, and hostile to progress.

The second purpose that philosophy should fulfill is 2. To give insights to society at large and humanity, something that isn't science but that is useful and insightful. It has also completely failed at this, as philosophers have failed at even realising that war is bad. The biggest issue currently in my opinion, and the field is still divided on it. Similarly, philosophers don't even know how to make an ethical decision, know nothing about mechanisms of human behavior, don't have any idea how to live a good life, know nothing about how people should interact, and as such are irrelevant to society.

These are the two big tasks of philosophy, and it has failed at both, as such, it should be abolished.
