My brother laughed at me for asking my cat for directions in Seoul. We just arrived in Seoul and I'm really booted and burned out. I'm just really sick of traveling. I've been on the road for what feels like months now.

I'm a cat dad myself, and I noticed a really adorable cat walking around. I guessed he was a stray and my brother also thought that too. I petted the cat and he was so friendly. We kept seeing this cat on our way back. I asked him "Where can we get some good food?"

My brother was shocked. "You know he can't speak Korean right?"

I said "No, I bet you he can't speak English either."

My brother said "But still, he can't speak."

I said "I bet you he usually speaks Korean."

My brother was stumped.

So I asked my cat for directions again. He showed us this little restaurant. We went in and we couldn't usually speak Korean. So we pointed in the menu and they gave us this little snack if what I called it. It was a little soup called Doenjang Jjigae. But it was really good and nice. And I thought, Korea's really nice.

The next day, we went out to the Myeong-Dong shopping district and we went to this little restaurant right at the corner. The person said "Would you like some Doenjang Jjigae?" I said, "Really? How'd you know I liked Doenjang Jjigae?"

He said, "This is Korea. Doenjang Jjigae is good." And right after he said that, we saw that cute little stray cat walking near the restaurant. And we laughed.
