I stole a bunch of stuff from Walmart and then took my friend to the emergency room and told them I stole a bunch of stuff from Walmart to get different charges.

It was 12 years ago and I was in my 20’s, I didn’t normally shoplift but my friend was a bad influence.<br>We were at Walmart, and I was stealing a bunch of shit because my friend told me to. We got caught by security, and I was taken to a room and I was told I was going to jail. I asked if I could call my friend and they said no, it’s not an emergency.<br>I told them yes it is, he needs to take himself to the hospital. I spent about a half hour trying to convince them he needs to go to the hospital, I finally got them to call him in the room and I told him to pretend like he was sick.<br>He went all in on the role, he started dry heaving and throwing up onto the floor. They called an ambulance and had me ride with him.<br>When we got to the hospital they called the police and they were mad that I had lied to get out of shoplifting charges. They were giving me a disorderly conduct and some other shit that didn’t stick.<br>The odd part is my friend really was sick with norovirus and he ended up shitting all over the whole ambulance and when he was getting out of the ambulance he slipped in his own vomit and hurt his back.
