CMV: A large portion of crusaders against that anti-trans speech are motivated by anti-American sentiment.

I'd like to preface this post by saying that I think everyone should have freedom of speech no matter how offensive it is. That being said, I am seeing a lot of anti-Americans posting about how the US is some "other" country and Canadians have to stand up for trans rights in the US. It is very obvious that these people are motivated by anti-American sentiment and not any real desire to stand up for trans rights. It's quite obvious by the fact that they have zero concern for trans rights in their own countries. I am Canadian. I have seen very little support from Canadians on this issue until now.<br><br>If you don't believe me, it's very hard to change my view. I've already seen how strongly people feel about the US and I doubt I would be the one to change it.
