CMV: If you're a white person in the USA and you don't know anything about racism, it's probably because you've been trying to avoid it

I've been reading a lot of stories about racism and the only reason I know anything is that I'm interested in it and want to understand it. If I was not interested in it I would not know anything. I know plenty of white people who have been taught nothing about racism and I think it's because they don't want to know anything about it.<br><br>It's easier for them to say they don't care than to say they're scared of learning something new. <br><br>I don't think you can really not care about racism. It's too much a part of the world to not care.
