I destroyed my little brother s iPhone. He mistreats our pets and I just lost it on him and I smashed it on the floor.

My brother is so mean to my dog and cat. I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried telling my parents but they just told me to be patient with him and that he will grow out of it when he s older. But I just can’t watch him kind of suffer anymore. He pulls my dog’s tail so hard it falls onto the floor, sometimes he even makes my dog cry. He also has mistreated my cat and has kicked my cat out of the house. I tried to get them to take me to the animal shelter to find my cat but they refused. So today my brother came downstairs with is new iPhone and I just kind of snapped and I smashed it on the ground. He ran to get my parents and they’re yelling at me. They told me they s taking away my phone and laptop kind of like a punishment. I don’t know what’s going to happen to me.
