If a toddler lets go of the glass of milk and it falls, you don’t just say “oh, I better go clean this up, you entitled little shit! What do you mean you dropped it? You better damn well clean it up!”

You pull them up and give them a hug and say “that’s okay buddy, accidents happen, let’s clean it up, and I’ll show you how to not drop it next time.” <br><br>Kids don’t need punishment (unless it’s a tantrum). They need guidance, patience, and understanding. They are still learning how to navigate this world and need help along the way.
