Heating your car up for more than 30 seconds before driving in the winter is stupid.

I see so many people just leave their car on for 5-10 minutes before they even get in to drive it in the winter. First of all, this is horrible for the environment. Second of all, this is horrible for your wallet. Your car will most likely not get stolen when there's 2 feet of snow outside. If you have automatic start, you don't need to start it for 10 minutes and walk inside your house while it heats up, you can start it when you're leaving and it will be fine.
