Why is it becoming mainstream? That's not what I want.

I've seen "witches" going to the UN to open a new era for them to be recognized. The US has witches speaking out for them and it's becoming more mainstream.

As a witch for 25 yrs, I grew up in an era, and learned from people before me, where this lifestyle worked best for us if we kept it in the shadows. I'm not the only one that believes this, and I see many many people from my generation and older who also don't want this.

Why do these new witches think they have the right to change our way of life like this? We have always been a free and private belief system with no hierarchy, yet they are sided with the UN to represent us? Why should the UN or anyone else care that we exist?

There is nothing about this that makes me feel accepted, it makes me feel like the freedom I've grown up with is being taken from me.
