CMV: Republicans are losing elections because they are "woke".

I've been seeing a lot of right wingers saying that if you think like a Democrat then you're a liberal, if you think like a Republican you're a conservative. I think this is a problem because it's making Republicans think they are in some way being persecuted because they are being called liberal.<br><br>To me, it doesn't seem to matter what you call someone because they still know what you mean. The issue isn't the name. It's the fact that a lot of conservatives are making a big deal out of something that is not a big deal. Republicans are losing elections, not because they are being called liberals, but because they are being called stupid, crazy, racists, and bigots. That's what is hurting the party. This is not about a name, it's about what people are saying about Republicans and Democrats. The Republicans are losing because they have a lot of people who are calling the Democrats names, and people are not going to vote for a party that has a lot of bigoted people in it.<br><br>I think the issue is the name being called, not what is being said. Republicans think being called a liberal is worse than being called a conservative. They think being called a liberal means they are in some way being persecuted. That's not the case. It's a name. If Republicans stop being bigoted and stop being called bigoted, they will start winning elections again.
