Mitch McConnell is an absolute outlier when it comes to Senators. He is the Senate minority leader, usually when senators run for office they represent their constituents, apply their own personal values to their governance, and are approved by their constituents to embark on the high level of statesmanship required in the United States Senate.

Mitch McConnell does not do this, literally. He refuses to write his own speeches, and relies on the Heritage Foundation to write his speeches for him. He has no personal opinion on anything, he doesn’t have his own thoughts, he doesn’t have a personal philosophy, he doesn’t have personal values. He is not a statesman.

In an interview with the New York Times, he even stated that the founding of this nation did not have any errors in it, he said, “So it’s not the beginning that was the problem, the beginning was great, and we named the country after Washington, and he set out the idea, and the founders, and that’s a great legacy, and things went downhill after that.”

He doesn’t have a personal philosophy, he doesn’t have personal opinions, he doesn’t have personal values. He has been in the Senate for almost a half a century and is the minority leader. He is doomed to be in the minority, he will never be in the majority again, and once he leaves office he will be forgotten. He has no legacy, he has done nothing of note, he is a caretaker. Once he is dead, he won’t even leave behind the legacy of evil, much like the hate and intolerance of Strom Thurmond, or the destruction of the nation like Joe McCarthy. He will simply fade away, and no one will remember that he was there.

He will be a footnote in history that will be swept aside once he is gone. He is part of a powerful movement, which is a hard-right movement that the Republicans have started. But even then, he’s not the pioneer. He’s not the original. When he started his career Josh Hawley was still a child, and he just started his Senate career. But he doesn’t represent his constituents, he has given up that notion in favor of being a shyster. He personally does not believe in the principles of democracy, he personally doesn’t believe in the principles of Republicanism. He literally doesn’t have a personal opinion.

He was a shyster when he started his career as a lawyer, he was a shyster when he started his career as a judge, and he is a shyster as a senator. He is a shyster when he names his bills. He has named a bill the “Don’t Break Up the T-Bone Act”. He has a bill called “Save the Babies Act”. He has a bill called the “Unborn Child Support Act”. He is a shyster in a three-piece. Once he is dead, he will be forgotten, and no one will ever remember that he ever lived, and that is the pity of it all.

This is an absolutely historic moment in American politics. We have a senator who has run for the office for over a half a century who doesn’t believe in democracy. He has no personal values. He doesn’t represent his constituents. He literally is a shyster, with no personal philosophy.

*Edit to add, I got a few comments that said that your post history is not a good place to get information from. That is true, I do have a bit of a troll history, but that is an outdated history. I have a bunch of topics that I choose to write on and this chamber is one of them, if you have a problem with that then maybe you should take it up with the moderators, because I am allowed to post here, I am a member of this chamber, and I can and will continue to post topics of interest to me here, and if you don’t like that that is your problem, but I can post here however much I want to and I’m not going to stop.

*Edit to add, I know I’m getting a lot of hate from Republicans, and that is fine. I am not writing this post for Republicans, I am writing it for Democrats. If you are a Republican and you think Mitch McConnell is a good man, that’s okay, you can go on believing that. But if you are a Democrat, then you should be appalled that the minority leader of the United States does not have a personal philosophy, he doesn’t have personal values, he literally doesn’t believe in the principles of democracy.

Take a look at the comment history of the people that are downvoting this post. What you will see is an absolute lack of a personal philosophy and a lack of personal values. You see the same talking points repeated over and over. Republicans do not have personal values, they do not have a personal philosophy, they do not have their own thoughts. They do not rely on personal experience to make decisions, they do not rely on personal intuition to make decisions. They do not have an idea of what is right and wrong. They do not have an idea of what is good and bad. They do not have an idea of what is evil and what is not evil.

They literally don’t have personal values, and they do not have personal philosophies. They cannot make decisions on their own, they need to be told what to do. That is why Fox News has the highest-rated primetime show. That is why they apply cognitive dissonance to all of their thoughts. This apply cognitive dissonance to their thoughts because they have literally no personal values. They have no personal philosophies. They rely on their political party to make decisions for them. They rely on their leaders to make decisions for them. They rely on the media to make decisions for them. They literally do not know right from wrong, good from bad, or evil from not evil. They cannot see past their own bubble and they do not rely on their own thoughts.

That’s why Mitch McConnell is the most voteless senator in history. He doesn’t have personal values. He doesn’t have a personal philosophy. He doesn’t have personal thoughts. He is a perfect example of a Republican.
