Have you ever considered the fact that many rich people are psychopaths?

I have read a book called "The psychopath next door: the unsettling reality of psychopathy in everyday life" written by Martha Stout.

The book was about the social psychopaths, the ones that never end up in prison, but are everywhere around us. I recommend it to you if you want to better understand a certain class of people and to learn to identify them.

A quote from the book :

"In fact, the law-abiding majority of us are so anxious to avoid conflict, so determined to keep the peace, that we will go to great lengths to avoid permanent schisms in relationships. But psychopaths do not hesitate for a moment to exploit this aspect of human nature, and they think nothing of destroying relationships merely to see how quickly they can be reassembled. Their games are endless, and it is nearly impossible for anyone on the outside to take a hand".

Well, I have considered the fact that many rich people are psychopaths that have exploited this aspect of human nature to become rich.

Then I thought "is it a coincidence that we live in a world in which a minority is ruling over the majority?" There is always a ruling class in every country, no matter the political system of the country.

"What if the majority is being exploited by an elite of psychopaths that are able to exploit everybody, including the other psychopaths?"

I am not sure, it is just a theory, but it is a possibility.
