CMV: If a woman (18+) gets pregnant from a rape, she should be required to consider adoption as an option, as long as the birth is covered by the government.

I was talking to a friend and the conversation came to abortion, and she mentioned a scenario where a young girl was raped and got pregnant, she chose to keep the baby, and said she would be against mandatory adoption. I don't think this should be the case. I understand that the mother has the right to decide what happens to her own child, and I respect that, but it would be hypocritical to say that a woman has the right to do whatever she wants with her own body, but a man doesn't have the right to refuse to become a father. <br><br>I believe that if a woman gets pregnant from a rape, she should be given the option to adopt out the baby, and the birth should be covered by the government. She shouldn't have to carry the child if she doesn't want to. She can choose to abort, adopt out, or raise the child, but she should be given the choice. <br><br>What are your thoughts on this?
