First, a quick story:

I used to live a couple of years ago in a room for rent in a house with a few others, all of us students. I cooked for myself but we all shared the fridge and the cleaning once a week with everyone. There was this one girl that never contributed money to the fridge, never bought any of the communal food and had to be reminded every week to do the dishes for a day. She always agreed but somehow managed to "forget" only the day she was supposed to clean and never helped with that. She would even buy her food but store it in the communal fridge and once the freezer even ran out of space because of her stuff and she was complaining how her food is not fitting in there.

Well, long story short, the house was destroyed by the time she left. We had cockroaches and flees in the kitchen, the common room upstairs looked like garbage was literally dumped there. The once big fridge had mold everywhere and was broken and we were forced to throw it out. There was trash (empty plastic bottles etc) everywhere. It was a fucking mess. The others ended up leaving the house in a state of disrepair and I had to clean up the whole mess by myself and throw out all the trash.

Now to MGTOW:

I really like and agree with the message of this forum. I even think it is necessary in our current society. I never felt more connected with so many people before. It is fun to read and discuss the latest happenings in the world and connect with people who understand and see the same problems as you. We have hundred of thousands of members. So why is it so hard to find enough people to upvote a post and keep it on the front page?

Really guys, it is about the content and message we want to send to the world out there. We want to get our message out there and show that there are alternatives than to live a life of wage slavery. This sub should be as visible as possible. However, even if we have hundreds of thousands of members, only few enough people really care to upvote the posts and keep them up to create visibility. I don't get it.

Do you know why you contribute with an upvote? Even if you don't have anything to say, even if you don't want to leave any comment, by upvoting a post you create visibility and show that there is interest and a big community behind the message of MGTOW.

I mean, I also don't always comment on every post I upvote, but I always upvote a post. Even if I don't have anything to say and the comment section is empty, I upvote. Because it is not about me, it is about the message and the community we want to build.

And another thing: Why do you care about karma? Do you know what karma is? Karma is not a real thing. Karma is a virtual number and has no value in real life. Nobody cares if you have 400 karma in a year or none. Nobody will ever know it, nobody will hire you because of it. So your community does not need you to hoard your upvotes, it needs you to spend them so that there is the possibility for more people to join and discover MGTOW.

So if you care about this community and the message we want to tell the world, then show it by upvoting every post you see without caring about karma. Nobody cares about it anyway and it is not real.

If you care about MGTOW, then contribute to it. If you want to see more posts, upvote them. And always remember: Upvotes are currency for visibility.

Edit: I also noticed many of you put this sub on "do not show if you don't post or comment" on your r/all. So if you want to see more MGTOW posts in your r/all, then simply change the settings to "show even if you don't post or comment". It is simple but you can't complain that you don't see enough posts in r/all from this sub if you also don't help to make that happen.

Edit 16. April 2024: I want to thank everyone who shared the post in other subs. This post got the attention of 50k people and the sub now has a few thousand more members. Thank you.
