What’s with the add of “Quick Search” now?

Why do I need a browser function in ChatGPT? Does anyone know any examples of the ‘Quick Search’ that’s not literally just a search for something on Google? I’ve been using ChatGPT for a while now and can’t think of anything that this function is supposed to achieve.
