I was a child and they tried to abduct me and my friend

I’m a girl, 14 now, I was 13 at the time. I live in a pretty safe neighborhood. We have a few parks, a pool, and we’re right next to a big shopping center (mall). My friend lives next door to me and we spend a lot of time together. The previous winter we would spend a lot of time outside, especially at the park. We would play at the playground, walk on the walking trails, and hang out in front of this big stone building at the entrance. It’s pretty fun.<br><br>The first time it happened was last year. We were in front of the stone building, I was wearing my white puffy coat and my black leggings, and my friend had on her pink coat and jeans. We were just walking around and playing in front of the building when these two people came up to us. They were wearing black coats along with ski masks. They approached us and asked if we needed a ride home, because it was so cold. We said no, and they asked again. We said no again, and they started walking closer to us. We ran towards the park and didn’t stop until we got to my house. We didn’t think much of it, just some weird people trying to be nice.<br><br>It happened again just a few days ago. We were at the park, climbing on a big rock, when we saw a man and woman walking around the park. We thought nothing of it until we realized they were following us. They were wearing the exact same thing as the people from last year; black coats and ski masks. We got really scared and ran towards the walking trail, they followed us and started asking us if we wanted a ride. We said no and they got closer to us, so we ran again. We ran until we got to the entrance of the park, where the stone building was. We climbed over the fence and ran to the mall, where we told everyone what was happening and they called the police. They didn’t find anyone, but we filed a report.<br><br>It’s just me and my friend that know about this, and we’re both really scared. We haven’t been to the park since it happened and we don’t go outside very much anymore. <br><br>Please be careful, especially if you have kids.Make sure you teach them what to do in a situation like this.
