Boy, I am so glad that I am a gentleman.

I could not be more grateful that I've always endeavored to be a gentleman. Now I know that there are some feminist men and women out there that think being a gentleman is patriarchal nonsense or whatever, but I used to go as far as helping the very people who would call me out on this. I am so glad that I am out of that right now and that I am with a woman who fully supports my right to remain silent. I've always had a "women first" approach to everything and I have happily volunteered and given my time to causes that would benefit women. I've given my seat up to women in the past, I've been a huge supporter of the women I've dated in the past, I've helped women carry their bags up and down stairs, I've stood up for women. I am so glad that I am myself and I am so glad that I have been able to maintain my sense of self throughout all of this. I would hate to be one of these spineless men who are defending this. I am so glad that I am a gentleman.
