GPT-4 is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen

I've been playing around with GPT-4, and my god it's awesome. The best part is that it's just so so ridiculous and over the top. I don't know how they're so fucking stupid and think this is a good idea. They're making this thing a better imitation of a human every year, and they think it's gonna be used for good. There are better algorithms out there that can be used for good, but no, of course every company is gonna go for the one that can most accurately imitate a human, because that's what they want. <br><br>It's so hilarious that they think it's still gonna be useful for anything when people are gonna realize it's just AI. I already know that any time I open chatGPT, I'm not talking to a real human. How can OpenAI possibly think this is still gonna be useful? The fact that humans have jobs as customer support and tech support is proof that people want to talk to real humans. The only reason people use GPT-3.5, and now GPT-4, is for entertainment or proof of concept, and even then, most people don't know what they're doing. <br><br>But that's okay, because they'll still use it for good. Like making deepfakes! And even better, deepfakes of politicians that are indistinguishable from real footage! Or maybe deepfakes of porn. Or better, deepfakes of regular people in compromising positions! <br><br>Or hey, maybe OpenAI will just become this behemoth super-tech company that'll just make so many great things. But that's not what's gonna happen. What's gonna happen is that this technology will get taken by a bunch of different companies, and then the government. And then they'll use it for good.<br><br>They won't use it to manipulate people. They'll totally use it to manipulate people. And they'll do it in a way that we'll never even realize unless big tech companies start dropping like flies. They'll essentially start to strangle every big corporation, and every public figure that's not on the government's side, by creating this void where the public just starts to distrust every word that comes out of their mouth, because there's no way to know for sure if it's real or not. <br><br>It's fucking hilarious. The government is gonna start to strangle every corporation until they're just the only ones left. It's exactly what they want. <br><br>Sorry, I'm gonna keep using it regardless. But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna laugh.
