How about instead of tearing down society we build a new one?

If we took all the energy to tear down society and used it to build a new one. I wonder what it would look like. I think that may be the only thing and I would argue that's how the world came up with the original society. It's a back and forth between tearing down and building up. I think the world has become to big for that. What would it look like if we all dedicated ourselves to building a new society.
