Chatgpt makes errors after errors that even i (not a native english speaker) can point them out

So i was trying to find a plugin for my code editor that can combine multiple lines of text into one line with space between them.<br><br>I wanted to search in the VS Code market place, but i haven't used it for quite a while and i forgot how to search for plugins in the market place.<br><br>I remembered that i used "extension marketplace" to find extensions such as language servers that can be used by my code editor, but i don't know if it's the same keyword that i need to use to search for extension that is not a language servers.<br><br>So i asked ChatGPT how to search for extensions in the market place, and ChatGPT gave me a series of instructions that i must follow in order to "open the extensions/extension marketplace".<br><br>ChatGPT told me to click on the extension icon in the left sidebar, or to press shortcut key "Ctrl+Shift+X" to open the extensions page.<br><br>It told me that i need to click on the search button on the top of the page and type "extension marketplace" (no quotes).<br><br>But when i searched the extensions page, there is no extensions that is called "extension marketplace", instead there is only the "Extension Marketplace" button on the top left side of the page which is not the result of my search.<br><br>So i told ChatGPT that the extensions page does not have any results for "extensions marketplace", it only has the "Extension Marketplace" button, but ChatGPT still insisted that i should search for "extension marketplace".<br><br>I don't know what to do, i tried to argue with ChatGPT for a couple of minutes, i told it to click on the "Extensions Marketplace" button on the top left corner of the page.<br><br>It's very frustrating, i even tried to tell it that i only wanted to search for extensions that can help me to format my code and combine multiple lines of text into one line, and it insisted that i need to open the plugin page, because that is where i can find the extension that i need.<br><br>I told it that i'm already on the plugin page but it still insisted on opening the extensions page and that i need to click on the extensions button on the left sidebar or to search for "extensions marketplace" and it still told me to search for "extensions marketplace" after i clicked the extensions button in the left sidebar and i'm already on the extensions page, and it's very frustrating.<br><br>At the end of the day, i tried to tell it that i only wanted to search for extensions that can help me to format my code, i don't care if i need to open the extensions page in order to search for that.<br><br>It finally told me that i can just type "combine multiple lines into one line" in the search box on the extensions page to search for extensions that can doing exactly what i need, and i told it that i did, but i haven't got any results.<br><br>I don't know what to do, i even tried to give it examples about what kind of extensions that i'm searching for and it still insisted that i need to open the extensions page and to search for "extensions marketplace", until i finally gave up and start to search for code by myself.<br><br>After hours of searching with ChatGPT's help, i finally found the exact extensions that i need by myself, and now i'm feeling very betrayed.<br><br>I'm not a native english speaker, and i haven't use english for quite a while, i only used english to communicate with AI because i don't have any other options.<br><br>I thought that ChatGPT can help me to find the extensions that i need if i ask it nicely, but it kept giving me a series of nonsense instructions that i have already followed and i still haven't got anything from it.<br><br>I'm really disappointed in ChatGPT, and if you think that your English is bad, think again, because even a non-native english speaker like me can point out the errors that ChatGPT made.<br><br>So if you think that you can't speak English fluently, don't worry, you are still better at speaking English than ChatGPT, even if you think that you are not good at speaking English.<br><br>&#x200B;
