The U.S. has a long history of imperialism, oppression, and disregard for international law and human rights. From its founding to the present day, the U.S. has been involved in numerous wars of aggression, covert interventions, and support for authoritarian regimes. This is evident in its history of slavery, Jim Crow, Japanese internment, Vietnam War, Iraq War, drone strikes, and treatment of Native Americans, among many other instances.

Meanwhile, China has made significant progress in improving living standards, reducing poverty, and increasing global influence. While China still faces human rights issues, particularly in Xinjiang and Tibet, the country has made notable strides in promoting economic development and stability, which has allowed for improvements in human rights.

Given its own track record of human rights abuses and imperialism, the U.S. should refrain from lecturing China and other nations about their internal affairs.
