Fuck it all.

Normally a chill guy but today was too much. Woke up early to get some studying done before work. But my neighbor decides to have some sort of party, blasting Indian music through the walls and ceiling. Normally I'd give them the benefit of the doubt as I know see usually doesn't do this, but like I said I got shit to get done.<br><br>After banging on the ceiling and walls a couple times they're still persisting, so I go and knock. No answer. I knock harder, someone answers, and I nicely ask if they can keep it down. Not their fault at all but I could hear the music and their voices through their door before I knocked. They say yes but 10 minutes later, it's still loud. I'm getting just a bit angry but I give them the benefit of the doubt and bang on the walls and ceiling a few more times, to no avail.<br><br>Fuck it, I'm gonna go out there and talk to them, it's 7:30 am and I'm sure they'll be quiet once I ask.<br><br>I put my shoes on, grab my phone and keys, and head outside. And of course, they're not there. Lights are on, cars are there, but no one's home. Obviously it's been set up to play through a large speaker placed on the floor, but that's about it. In my rage I get my keys, put my phone in my pocket, and press play, which immediately stops the music. A minute or so later I get a text from my landlord.<br><br>"Who's going to pay for the speaker you broke? The tenant has done nothing wrong, the moral of the story is, don't touch other peoples shit. You did something that you thought was a smart move but it was uncalled for and now you're going to have to pay."<br><br>"Fun fact, leaving a speaker blasting at 7:30 am is illegal."<br><br>"Fun fact, you broke it"
