CMV: If the left continues to push for unrestricted illegal immigration and open borders, we will never see a democrat in the White House again

I think we can all agree that Trump was a symptom of a larger illness that needs to be cured. Unfortunately, the left's stance on immigration is a poison that will continue to rot from the inside out and will ensure that no democrat will win the presidency for decades to come. The reason is that a large portion of Trump's base consists of those that are afraid of change, and immigrants symbolize change. If we continue to let immigrants in en masse without any regulation, we will continue to see areas of the country shift further and further to the left. <br><br>Ultimately, Trump won because he tapped into the white nationalist sentiment in our country. His rhetoric was coded and often dog whistled, but the base understood that he was on their side. If the left continues to push for open borders, the base will realize that the right is on their side as well. <br><br>Trump won by capitalizing on the growing white nationalist sentiment. He won by tapping into the fear that America is changing too quickly. If the left continues to let America change too quickly, the base will grow even further and we will never see another democrat in the White House again.
