This is something that I thought of as a way to make my parents stop saying that people who are on public health care don't deserve to have a say in public health care, as in they don't pay for it, so they shouldn't have to pay more in taxes. So here's what I thought:

If you don't want to pay for someone else's health care, then you should pay more for your own health care, or more for services that people on public health care use. For example, if you don't want to pay for a doctor's visit, then you should pay more for your copay. If you don't want to pay for people's prescriptions, then you should pay more for your prescription. If you don't want to pay for a person's heart surgery, then you should pay more for a heart specialist.

I think that this would be fair, but I'm open to any other thoughts.
