CMV: Trump won because he won, not because of anything wrong with democracy

I don't want to argue politics here, but I see a lot of posts saying that democracy is failing and that's why Trump won. But if we want to make Trump lose then we need to get rid of him, not democracy.<br><br>I don't think there is anything wrong with democracy, it's been working for centuries. Democracy just means "the people decide", which can go both ways. We're not getting rid of democracy because Trump won, because we're just trying to win. We don't want democracy to go away, we want Trump to go away.<br><br>I'm not saying there's anything wrong with democracy. I'm saying that we need to get rid of Trump because he's bad for us and for our country, not because there's anything wrong with democracy. <br><br>**Edit 1**: I think the reason people are saying "democracy is failing" is because they feel the system is rigged. I'm not sure if the system is actually rigged, but there is no doubt that there is a huge amount of propaganda being spread right now, and a lot of people are misinformed. If they were truly informed, Trump would not have a chance. I'm not saying it's impossible for Trump to get votes. I'm saying that it's impossible for him to be president because he is uninformed.
