How would you redesign the USA?

The prompt of the redesign is mostly up to you. I'm curious about how you would reorganize the country, starting from scratch. As though you had a completely blank slate.<br><br>Some questions to consider:<br><br>* What would the number and arrangement of states be?<br>* How much power would the federal government have?<br>* What branches of government would there be?<br>* How would you divide up the land currently held by the federal government?<br>* How would you reorganize (or disband) existing government agencies?<br>* How would you handle the current system of cities and urban planning?<br>* How would you redesign the justice and prison systems?<br>* How would you divide assets of the current government?<br>* How would you handle redistribution of wealth currently held by private citizens or corporations?<br><br>Feel free to go as in depth as you want, and raise additional points that you find relevant.
