The "popular kids" usually have it the hardest

I know everyone who wasn't in that "group" will start yelling at me but hear me out, I did have a "popular" group I hung out with but I never considered myself a "popular kid" and still don't, the reasoning for this post is I had to deal with a lot of stuff from those popular kids that most people don't see, some of them who I know had major anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bullying at home, parents that push them too hard to excel in school or other things, parents that don't think they're good enough, I could go on all day. The whole "popular kids have it better" I feel is bullshit, I think they have it the hardest and we don't see all that they go through, I don't think being popular is great, yeah you get a lot of people to talk to but would you rather have a lot of friends but have all the additional drama and side effects that come with it or just have a few good friends?
