There is no such thing as an "influencer"

Whenever I hear the words influencer, I cringe. You see influencers all the time online and they are nothing more than people with a huge ego. These are not influencers. Just a bunch of idiots trying to peddle their wares.<br><br>A REAL influencer is someone who actually influences what happens in the world. I cannot think of a single "influencer" that has done anything of import.<br><br>Also, the very concept of paying someone to peddle your goods when you cannot do anything yourself is just wrong.<br><br>Edit:<br><br>1) Thanks for all the replies.
