The dating world for men is literally designed to make us fail

I dated this one girl and at first she was really receptive to me and liked me a lot. After a month or so she started to give me the run around. I'd ask her out, she wouldn't respond. I asked her if we could just chill at my place and watch a movie, and she said "sure" but "i'll end up staying at my place" even though we lived like 5 minutes from each other. I took her to get dinner and she said she didn't have any money so I had to pay, even though I'm a student and live off of my parents' money, while she worked a real job. I invited her to the fair and paid for her entrance. She kept saying she had to go back home early but she kept staying out later.

Then I decided to just chill at her place one night and she said she had to go to her cousin's party so I could just chill there on my own. The whole place was basically empty except for a picture of her and her ex.

Eventually she said "I don't wanna see you anymore" but I still saw her around town and at some point she even said "I miss you" when she saw me at the mall.

I got really frustrated so I asked her what the fuck was up with her, and she said "I'm not attracted to you" even though I'm what most would consider to be pretty good looking. Then she said "I don't think we're compatible" but like, we used to have loads in common and I was always listening to her and hanging out with her. She basically ghosted me and started dating some other guy and they've been together for a few months now.

But here's the thing, she was dating this guy who's not really that much better looking than me and he's really short for his age. He's probably gonna end up short my whole life too, and not just physically.

I know a lot of us here talk about how women have "pickiness premiums" and that women date below their "value" and all this. I don't even really care about that anymore. But what gets me is how it seems like the dating world is literally set up to make us fail.

We're forced to compete with other men, and we have to pay for shit just to even get a date, and even then she can just say "I don't want to see you anymore" whenever she feels like it.

What makes it even worse is that women basically never get rejected. I've been rejected so many times it makes my head spin, but the girl I was just talking about has dated like 5 different guys in the last 2 years and even dated one of her dead beats for like 6 months straight. She's also one of the girls that gets approached by guys all the time. I've never even seen a guy try to hit on her.
