I'm a male nurse and I've seen how many sexual assault cases are fabricated

I've worked in 2 hospitals, one er and one subacute. I've seen a decent amount of sexual assault cases being admitted. Most of them are bullshit. Many times the girls will come in with bruising and injuries in places that just don't add up. I had one case where a girl came in with a black eye and a punch mark on her chest. When our resident physician asked her how it happened she said she was sexually assaulted. We were all shocked when she then went on to say that she had sex with her girlfriend and she slapped him (this is a university so lots of drink involved) and then booked it. <br><br>Another girl came in with severe injuries down below and like bruises all over her thighs and butt. The story was that she was held down and raped by 4 guys. When our nurse was placing a urinary catheter, she flinched positively when the catheter touched her clitoris. Like she was enjoying it. When our physician asked her about it, she said "it's normal, I'm sexually adventurous". Like did she really not think she'd get caught up giving a fake rape story when that came out?<br><br>Sorry, that's just the type of stuff I've seen. I don't think a lot of these girls actually think it's wrong to lie for insurance money. And if they get caught it's not like they get charged with a crime.
