My wife "Lynn" and I have been together for six years and married for 11 months. Our entire history together has been very normal and never once have I noticed any weird behavior. But ever since we moved into our new house, I've caught her peeking at me from around corners, over my shoulder, and from behind furniture. At first, it wasn't weird, I'd be standing in the hallway and she'd pop her head around the corner, smile, and say hi.

But then I started catching her peeking and she wasn't smiling. In fact, she was deadpan and she'd dart off before I could say a word. I figured she was just messing around and trying to be silly, but it started to get annoying because she did it *all the time*.

I was cooking in the kitchen and I saw her peek over my shoulder. I was watching a movie on the couch and she popped her head around the back of it. I was in the bathroom and she was peeking over my shoulder at me through the mirror. I tried to talk to her about it, but she said she wasn't doing it on purpose and she didn't know what I was talking about.

That was a pretty big red flag for me, because I'm certain she was aware that she was doing it. I pressed the issue further and she got upset saying she was just trying to be a little affectionate and I was ruining what should be a sweet gesture by making her out to be some sort of weirdo. But the way she was doing it just wasn't normal.

Fast forward a few days. I was sitting at my desk working. I was really in the zone and my focus was solely on what I was doing. I felt a tingle in the back of my neck and I realized that I was being watched. I spun my chair around and there was Lynn. She was peeking at me from behind the office door with the most sinister, smug expression on her face. I said her name and she darted off. Now at this point I should have been fed up with her little "game", but I didn't say anything. It was more than just a little game at that point.

It was a little scary. I didn't know how she was able to walk up behind me without me noticing and it kind of spooked me. But I couldn't let her know that. She was playing on my fear, or at least I thought she was. I didn't want to give her the satisfaction. So I did nothing. I went on with my day as usual, but it really did unnerve me.

I just felt uneasy the rest of the day after that. I couldn't focus on anything and every time I got that feeling that I was being watched, I'd spin around expecting to see her peeking. But she was never there. I got myself so worked up that I was sweating and pacing back and forth in the living room. I was on edge and I didn't know what she was trying to accomplish.

I woke up in the middle of the night to get a drink. I walked down the hallway, through the living room, and into the kitchen. It was 3am and my glasses were in the bedroom, so everything was a bit fuzzy. I opened the fridge and reached inside. It's a side-by-side fridge/freezer, and as my hand was on a bottle of juice, I saw a reflection in the window of the door. It was a woman. Standing behind me, over my shoulder. I screamed, spun around, and it was Lynn.

But it wasn't really Lynn. Her eyes were black as coal and her smile was huge. I'll never forget the smell. It smelled like death and something sweet. In a way, it was kind of inviting, but it was terrifying. I tried to run but my body locked up in place. She reached out and rubbed the back of my head and down my back. It sent chills through my entire body, but I couldn't move. I was paralyzed with fear.

"You're mine now." She said. I don't know if that's really what she said, part of me thinks that was just a dream, but I know that it wasn't her voice. It was deep and guttural. Nothing like Lynn's voice. I was too scared to say anything.

That was the last thing I remember.

When I woke up, it was 11am. I was laying on my stomach in the bedroom. I assume Lynn put me there, but I have no idea how she carried me. She's a petite woman and I'm 6'4 and 230 pounds. There's no way she lifted me on her own.

On my back, in red letters that looked like blood, was written "You're mine now."

I'm in a state of panic. I'm typing this in the bedroom at the desk. I think I'm going to call the police and tell them that I think my wife is possessed or something. I can't think of anything else that would explain this. I think I'm just going to come clean and tell them everything. I know they're going to think I'm insane, but I don't care.

I'm scared and I don't know what to do. I'm going to update when I can.

**UPDATE**

I called the police and they sent an officer over. I told them everything, from her peeking to what happened last night. The officer said that it sounded like my wife had a serious mental disorder and she probably needed to be institutionalized. I agreed, but I said I just wanted to get to the bottom of it. I didn't want to jump the gun on sending her to a psychward.

The officer said that he would probably have me talk to a psychiatrist and see if we couldn't figure out just what was wrong with her. He took some pictures of the writing on my back and said he would be back in touch. I'm just waiting at this point.

**UPDATE 2**

I haven't heard anything from the police or the psychiatrist and it's been a few days. I haven't seen Lynn at all. I've called her name a few times but she won't come out. I really think she might be possessed. I've heard strange noises and I saw her peeking at me from the shower curtain while I was bathing.

**FINAL UPDATE**

I just received a package in the mail. Inside, there was a mirror, a note, and a photograph. The note said "You're mine now."

The photograph was of Lynn and I in the wedding dress and tux. But it wasn't the one we took on our wedding day. And on the back, it said "February 11, 2016." A year before we even got married.

On the mirror, there were a few words etched in red. "You're mine now."

I'm certain that Lynn isn't who I thought she was. I'm ending this update before I write myself into a panic. I know I'm going to get a lot of comments saying I should do this and I should do that. I know some of you will say I should get out and find help. I know some of you will say I should try to get to the bottom of things.

I'm not in any mind to do anything right now. I just need to be alone with my thoughts.

Bye.

***FINAL UPDATE*** (11-16-15 12:14pm)

I tried to wipe the writing from the mirror, but it wouldn't budge. In a rage, I smashed the mirror into a thousand pieces. I grabbed a piece of the broken mirror and looked at myself. My eyes were black as coal and I had a huge smile on my face.

I'm Lynn now.
