Hello r/Drugs, I am Michael Ashcroft, a Pharmacology PhD student.

I am part of the team working on the new psychedelic research facility at the University of California, Riverside. We are currently working on the synthesis of 5-MeO-DMT, psilocybin, and ibogaine to investigate their effects in rodents with the ultimate goal of translating that data into humans. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about psychedelics, drugs, and/or graduate school.<br><br>**EDIT**: Holy smokes this got popular fast.
