I'm not going to stay for your meltdown just because I sat next to you.

I’m a woman in a computer science major and I love this class but I always feel so uncomfortable when the guys in the class get upset over their coding not working. They will just get up and walk over to me and start telling me all of their code, or they'll start just rambling about anything when I'm clearly doing my own work. I sat down next to a guy who asked me to help him, he walked me through his entire code, and I was like okay so just swap the two variables you need to use here and there. Then I have to sit here and have him go over his entire code to me again because he is "excited he figured it out". I made an excuse to leave and move to a different seat but why must I always be expected to sit and have a meltdown with them every time they encounter a problem? I don't even understand what they're doing because I am focused on my own work.
