*OpenAI Engineer: "From talking to people at Google, I think they've jumped the curve in terms of training and making generative models. They've found some major breakthroughs on RLHF and have been training a model that's a direct clone of ChatGPT transformer, but they've figured out how to reliably train it to do long-term tasks and such. It's within a 1% quality of ChatGPT, but 10x faster for much longer dialogue and much higher accuracy in terms of nuance and understanding. Simply put, it's going to blow chats out of the water. Google made the commitment to launch in 2024."<br><br>On top of this, Google is not just training another generative model. They're working on the next AI system that will actually start to replace your brain, not just your keyboard. They are working on RLHF with NOT one brain model, but LARGE networks that they can use and apply to many different transformer models. And that's just the tip of the iceberg... They're changing the game and I'm not sure if OpenAI can keep up at this point.
