My student died, I’m still in shock

I teach in an elementary school. I came to school on Monday and received the news that one of my students died. It was a car accident and she couldn’t be saved. I still can’t process this. I keep expecting her to walk through the door, smile at me and tell me another random story, but she won’t, she never will. I thought about the parents, the family, and the brothers and sisters who won’t see her again. <br><br>I didn’t take this student this year, but I had the pleasure of teaching her in another grade, and she really touched my heart. She is an angel who will remain forever in my heart.<br><br>I can’t believe it’s gone. It’s hard to believe.
