Banned for life from Target

I saw that some people have been curious about some of my past experiences. I thought I’d share this one with you all. If you’d like to hear more, please let me know and I’ll post them in the coming days.

I was banned for life from target. I didn’t steal anything but I got caught stealing with an empty backpack. I had thrown something in a random woman’s bag. That’s not why I’m writing this though. What I’d like to ask is how some people are so obtuse. The manager was talking about how I didn’t deserve to shop there. It’s not like I stole a tv or a bike or something. I don’t even know what was in that bag. But she kept going on about how I didn’t deserve to shop there, how I need to learn my lesson. She said I should have to stay in there office overnight and be banned for three years. I agreed to all of that, whatever at that point I was just ready to go. I was in there for almost 12 hours.

I don’t think she ever got it. I didn’t want to be in that stupid office. I didn’t want to be in target. I didn’t want to be caught. I didn’t want to have to do community service and I didn’t want to get arrested. But that was all irrelevant to her. She didn’t care about my stress and my disappointment and fear. She didn’t care about the inconvenience of having to take me into custody. She didn’t care about my friends who were waiting for me. No, she was only concerned with how she got the weirdest call of her career. A shoplifter with no merchandise and nothing in their bag. An empty backpack and a smile. What a ridiculous woman.

Just thought I’d share that.
