My(F34) fiance(M36) says he wants to divorce me if we don't have kids in the next 3 years. How would you handle it?

Throwaway account. Sorry if this post is too long, or personal. <br><br>Okay, so my relationship with my now fiance started 4 years ago. It's been a whirlwind. Due to his bad past relationships deciding to commit to me was hard. He told me he didn't want to get married ever or have kids. I told him I was okay with that as long as he was willing to have animals and plants and stuff.<br><br>Fast forward 3 years and he bought a house, proposed and then said he wanted kids. I was shocked, we had a huge fight and I told him I couldn't have kids and that if I did I wanted to divorce because parenting isn't for me. I was willing to compromise and have one. He said he wanted 3.<br><br>This was a huge argument and after several of them he said he could live without kids. We were happy again. However, he still wanted kids. Frustratingly enough he then went on to go behind my back and start seeing a financial advisor and the advisor told him that in 3 years he would be able to quit his job. Our plan was to have a bunch of animals (horses, goats, sheep) and live on a farm and self suffiiciently.<br><br>The reason I didn't want kids is because I made really good money and I rather have spent 2/3 of my salary on an animal that wasn't just going to sit and do nothing than a kid. I can afford a kid, I just don't want one.<br><br>Then I found out about his plans. He said he wanted to see if I would be willing to have a kid by the time 3 years was up. He said he feels like he wants to be a dad. I don't know how to handle this. I just want my life to be peaceful and I feel like if I have a kid it will ruin that. I don't want a kid and now I feel like I'm being blackmailed. I want to just say fuck it and break up but I do love him. <br><br>How would you handle this? <br><br>TL;DR: Fiance who previously didn't want kids says he does now and will divorce me in 3 years if I don't have any.<br><br>Edit: First of all, thank you to everyone for your advice so far. Second, I did tell him that I would not have kids. However, he is not going to change his mind and I am not going to change my mind either.
