White woman goes on anti-immigration rant when I tell her my background

I (F24) am of Latin American descent, my dad is from Colombia and my mom is from Peru. I have a very mixed phenotype which is often mistaken as being Middle Eastern or Indian (I get this a lot in the US). Recently I got into a conversation with a white woman (maybe mid to late 20s?) at a bar and she asked where I was from. When I told her my parents were from Peru and Colombia she immediately said "oh cool, but they should stay in their country".

I've had people of my race (who are often mistaken as Hispanic/Latino) tell me similar things before but this was the first time a white woman said it to me. I'm assuming it's because in the US there's this weird expectation that white women are liberal and accepting. They're not.

Edit for context: I said "They should stay in their country" not "They should go back in their country". She is from the US of course and I assume this was a misquote on my part.
