Does anyone actually enjoy sexting? It seems so boring

I can’t understand how sexting is like, so popular. Yes, I have done it before. But I never got why people enjoy it. I mean, isn’t there a lot more interesting tasks to do than write what you wanna do with a person while maybe a couple thousand kilometers away? I mean, I get that sexting might be more of the bare minimum of sending pics, but even writing all that stuff. I dunno, it just seems weird.
