this was the most epic rant I’ve ever read, and I thought more people should see it. so here:

A white man, in the wealthiest nation in the world, is more “oppressed” than a working class black woman in Africa.<br><br>A straight white man is more oppressed than everybody, apparently.<br><br>White men are more oppressed than women, PoC, LGBTQ+, and disabled people because of “reverse racism” and “misandry”.<br><br>Being oppressed as a member of a minority is totally the same as being privileged as a member of the majority.<br><br>White men are more oppressed than everybody else, but also happily accept the fact that they make up 70% of the world leaders, (most of whom are straight, cis, middle-aged white men).<br><br>Women are more oppressed than white men, but also make up most of the world’s billionaires and leaders, and dominate almost every career path.<br><br>LGBTQ+ people are more oppressed than white men, but also have many people in positions of power, and an entire month dedicated to their sexuality, all while Christians are still being brutally persecuted in plenty of countries.<br><br>White men are more oppressed than black people, but also aren’t being gunned down in the streets for being white, or having their voting rights stripped away from them due to the colour of their skin.<br><br>White men are more oppressed than everybody else, but are also the least likely to be “censored” on social media.<br><br>Being a white, straight, cis man is the most oppressed thing in the world, despite the fact that the majority of politicians, business owners, and billionaires are all white men.<br><br>White men are more oppressed than PoC, because the latter have their own dedicated month, but also get pissed off when people suggest that white men shouldn’t be the default for basically everything.
