I wanted to share this story because I have no idea what to believe, and I think most of you will think I'm crazy anyway. So if you have 5 minutes to spare, grab a snack and listen to what I have to say.

Something happened 19 years ago, and to this day if I think about it, I still get chills. I was only 7 back then, so the details may be fuzzy, but I will share what I remember.

My father had a friend who owned a restaurant. One summer night in 2005, my father decided to take me and my brother there. The restaurant was in a very good location and was quite large. They could fit hundreds of customers and had an enormous staff. While we were eating, a lot came through the front door and asked my father to come out for a minute. He went and after a while, he came back to the table and said that a lot would never come back. Apparently, he was shot and killed by some unknown people. He was taken to the hospital, but unfortunately passed away.

My father was upset, so we left. The next morning, my father felt awful because of what had happened, so he went to the restaurant to help with the preparations for the funeral. The owner was not in a good condition and was crying all the time. My father was just trying to help. After a while, he received a call from one of the restaurant's employees. On the phone was the owner's son. He was in a terrible mood and was yelling at my father, asking him why he was at his restaurant and making a scene. My father was very confused and tried to explain what happened the night before, but the guy on the phone didn't seem to know what he was talking about. After my father kept going on and on, he finally said "You're just trying to get money from me, right?". My father had never been scammed himself, so he didn't know what to say. He was confused and just hung up the phone.

There was no shot, no death, no suicide. Nothing. The owner and his son were both just fine. It didn't end there, though. The next day, my father received another call from the same employee, who was still yelling at him. "I told you to stop calling! Why are you doing this?!" my father asked. "What? No, you called me and asked why I wasn't at work. Now you're calling me again and asking me what you're talking about?"

This went on for a full week. Every day, my father would receive a call from this guy, and he would scream at him, asking why he kept calling him. One day, my father had had enough. He decided to go to the restaurant and talk to the owner's son in person. The restaurant was empty, except for the owner. When my father walked in, he asked the owner "Where is your son?" The owner looked at him, confused, and said "He's at home, aren't you going to go get him?"

My father got in the car and drove to the owner's home. There was only one person there. It was the owner's son. He was sitting on the couch, and he looked up at my father and said "Thank God you're here. I was starting to think I was going crazy. I don't know how many times you've called me in the past week." My father asked him "What do you mean? Every time you call me, you yell at me and hang up." He looked at my father, then paused for a moment, and said "So you don't know?" My father said he didn't. The son then said "My dad shot himself two weeks ago."

My father couldn't believe it. He asked him if he was okay, and the son said he was. My father then asked him what would happen to the restaurant. He said that he was selling it because he didn't have time to run it, but he had already found a buyer. He said that the new owner would be there that night to sign the papers and they would talk about all the details.

My father came home and told us the whole story. We were all shocked. Later that night, my father received another call. "You did it. You sold the restaurant. There's nothing left for you to get. Stop calling!" My father said "What are you talking about? Stop calling me!" The guy on the phone cried and said "Please stop calling me. My father just died."

The next morning, my father received a call from the owner's son. He was very happy. He told my father that the restaurant was sold, and he had gotten a lot of money for it. He said he was going to buy a new house and live a more laid-back life.

That night, my father received another call. "You son of a bitch. I knew you were the one doing this. My father just killed himself, and you're trying to take his money." My father yelled at the guy, saying he was crazy and had sold the restaurant the night before. The guy on the phone yelled back "No, no, no! My father is dead. He shot himself! You won't get away with this!"

The next morning, my father got a call from the owner's son. He was screaming. He said his dad had shot himself. My father said "But didn't you sell the restaurant last night?" There was a pause, and then the son said "What? I don't know what you're talking about."

This went on for months. My father would get calls from the owner's son, sometimes happy that he had sold the restaurant and sometimes sad that his dad had killed himself. My father asked him if he knew my father, but he didn't. He had no idea who my father was or why he kept calling him. My father tried to convince him that we had met, but he just said he had never seen my father before.

After a while, my father stopped getting calls from the owner's son. It's been years since I've thought about this, and I have no idea what happened to the restaurant. I don't know if the owner really died or if he sold the restaurant. I just have the feeling that my father saw a glimpse of the future that night. And maybe, just maybe, he changed it.

 my father wasn't crazy. I swear :/

EDIT: WOW! This blew up. Thank you for your kind comments and awards. Please be aware that I'm just a 10 year old kid on reddit. I may not be able to respond to all the comments.
